Welcome to the Alaska Mountaineer Youth Development & Sports Program Website

Thank you for visiting our site. This year, the Alaska Mountaineer Youth Development & Sports Program (formerly PANIC/Mountaineer Sports) celebrates 12 years of
providing year round opportunities for student-athletes to learn, skill develop and play at the most competitive levels their age and talents allow.  We are a registered 501
(c)(3) non-profit, in partnership and affiliated with the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU).  We are successful because of the focus and balance we share on young athletes
and non-athletes in coach and parent perspectives towards development and growth.  Always welcoming new and informative ideas to encourage and improve our
    programs.

Our Board of Directors consists of active coaches, parents and at-large volunteers that represent the best interests of youth.  Volunteer coaches devote an incredible
amount of time to work with girls and boys wanting to improve academically and in sports.  Parents coordinate team and club operations, community service (Adopt-a-
Park, Global Youth Service Day) events, communications and outreach, sponsorship and fund raising efforts.

Our success is a testament to the partnership each team shares with our players, parents and coaches.  We hope you too will take part of our growing program, as a
    player, parent, volunteer/mentor or coach.

WINNING IS SHORT LIVED.
EDUCATION IS FOR LIFE.
Mountaineer coaches are expected to impact student-athletes with what it
means to be a student first.  An athlete second!
